Year 11 Business Studies’ students started the academic year with a talk from an entrepreneurial guest speaker. Saftar Sarwar is an Oxbridge graduate and owner of his own Investment bank. He has 20 years banking experience: managing investments, clients and dealing with different client relationships. 

Saftar spoke about the importance of hard work and dedication to be able to work in professions such as Investment Banking. He said that your background should not be a barrier for achievement and working in these elite professions. Year 11’s also learnt more about Finance and investing stocks and shares.
