Reception meet the Animals!

Children in Reception class had an opportunity to handle and explore various animals and discover their textures and senses.
Children bravely handled different animals such as a Chilean Rose tarantula, a Giant Hissing Cockroach, a Corn snake and a giant African snail to name a few.
This rich experience sparked curiosity and stimulated the use of scientific vocabulary and questioning.
