Singing for the Local Community

On 12th December George Mitchell students supported a local charity which helps isolated elderly people in our community by serving them lunch and singing festive songs at their Christmas gathering.
A cake made by the school was presented to Bill in celebration of his 99th birthday.
The Mayor of Waltham Forest (Sally Littlejohn), also in attendance, paid tribute to the students saying ‘A huge thank you to George Mitchell School for their lovely act of kindness’
