Pupils from years 9, 10 & 11 visited the Ballantyne 2018 Aerospace Careers Show to find out about the fantastic variety of career pathways that aerospace and aviation offers and the application of STEM subjects.

The day included:

• Apprenticeship and university/graduate routes from Raytheon team and aero professionals
• Celebration of Royal Air Force 100th anniversary and future careers
• Insight into space, flying and aviation operations
• A special networking session
• The Challenge zone with fantastic prizes including Raytheon Quadcopter Design Challenge; Flight simulation competition; RAeS Critical Thinking challenges and more!
